we went to possum kingdom lake this week to our visit our very good friends the durands. this has been a yearly tradition since before we were married (except last year). we had a wonderful and relaxing time. it is truly one of our favorite places in the whole world. we think aniyah loves it as much as we do. she loved being outside, swimming, playing in dirt/sand, jumping off the boat, and even tubing!!! hope to have a reunion or two in the future as our families grow, though our lives may take us to different places.

first boat ride. crazy haired mommy and baby... that's what happens when you combine curly hair, water, salt, and wind.
aniyah and her first tube ride. she loved it! she fussed a bit at the getting on part, but then we could hear her from the boat laughing and squealing. then after about 3 or 4 minutes she just started saying "all done" over and over again. so adam gave us the signal and we pulled them in. this was a big step for me who hates and is super afraid of water!

That looks like you guys had a awesome time!
Well...Aniyah has a look of PURE JOY playing in the sand!! And she just loved the water. Your little "outdoor nature girl", that is where her tiny bit of heaven is. Maybe she will be a botanist, a marine biologist, or maybe even a "tree hugger". hee hee. Doesn't matter, she will always have her Nana and Grandpa's love. :)
CUUUUUUTE! What a sweet girl!! You guys are training her up right! At the lake!
